our project

delivering experiences that tap into our humanness and move in sync with our world

We found a little (HUGE) gap in the market: We're more connected than ever, yet 50% of the population experience loneliness. We've got convenience at our fingertips and still 65% of UK adults experience burnout.

We are devouring our world — but what we're really hungry for is kithship.

Let’s untangle this. The “disconnection” movement began a little while ago — A pull back to nature, the rise of the analogue life, the slow life, the idea that “everyone wants a village, but no one wants to be a villager.” The reality is that what we're experiencing isn’t a trend — it’s a correction.

Our human biology is far out of its comfort zone

Our capacity to redesign our environments meant we’ve moved faster than our biology can ever dream of!

Our bodies aren’t that much different from our hunter-gatherer ancestors. Yet, our modern enviroment is dramatically so.

Today, any exposure to wild nature is rare. Our food is ultra-processed. We made ourselves comfortable — but are we, actually? On the surface, this looks like progress. But we’ve placed our body and mind in conditions they weren’t designed for and that’s where the feeling of disconnection comes from.

Of course it’s not all bad, we can also see the advantages and benefits of our progress. But we cannot overlook the fact that this does not take our planet or any other species into account. And that’s the correction we are after.

In the words of NASA astronaut Victor Glover on his recent space trip:

“This is a whole bunch of nothing… and then you see this oasis — this beautiful place that we get to exist together.”

A group of eight people planting seedlings in a garden bed, surrounded by various green plants and gardening supplies.

Yet, we just can’t seem to find a solution to make most humans act accordingly. Maybe it takes a trip to space?

Or maybe — just maybe — it’s much simpler than that.
Maybe it takes connection and micro-immersions into our natural, wild, raw, wonderful world to revive our humanness.

This is our X-factor.

Human behaviour is downstream of environment design.
Change the environment, change the behaviour.

People don’t change because they’re told to.
They change when:

  • They take part in a system.
They feel a sense of belonging.
They can contribute their own strengths alongside others.
They see the impact of their actions in real time.

Humans feel better when they have:

  • Something to learn
    Something to build
    Something to look forward to
    People to share it with
    Visible results

So we’ve made it our mission to create experiences, big and small, where all of these come together as one.

To make space for kithship to flourish, most importantly, a place to belong.

Come join us and experience the world though our lens.

Our project is human-centred, nature-based

built to step out of passive consumption and into active participation.

We create spaces to have a rewilding time while redesign our system from the ground up.

That’s what our project is about.

KITHSHIP‍ ‍

—knowing the people, land, and "square mile" around you, fostering connection through shared affection for a place, mutual support, and community building.

The creative wonderer behind our project

Mariana, like any small business owner wears many hats and sometimes wishes she could be in more than two places at once. She pours her heart and soul into every aspect of the project to grow and thrive. Beyond it all she loves creating spaces for people to come together, rewild and collectively redesign a better future.
